Description
Chicago® grip with hot-line latch for bare conductors. Hot-line grips for both bare and insulated conductors. Grip may be placed on wire with hot-line stick. When stick is removed, latch closes automatically to guard against grip accidentally disengaging from wire. Standard hot-line grips are not supplied with springs or lock-open features.
Designed for cable sizes from 0.12 to 0.37-Inch (3.05 to 9.40 mm) with maximum safe load of 4500-Pound (2041 kg)
Double V grooves give four-point contact, reducing chance of slipping and providing proper alignment of wire and cable
Locking handle keeps jaw open while grip is placed on cable with a hot stick
